[/QUOTE] I'm afraid I'm guilty of having multiple toys too. Love that rod vettebeige! I have a 29 A vintage rod in the shop just begging me to spend money on it!

Just my opinion here.
If your '81 is a 4 spd. I would keep it.
If not, I would dump it and get the '82. '82's have overdrive vs. '81's 3 spd. auto. (= better mpg)
82's are Fuel injected vs. 81's electronic feedback 4 bbl carb. I'd rather have the injection over a antiquated carb.
Plus this '82 you are looking at has very low miles. Also in Jan.06 Corvette Magazine has the C3 Market values. An average condition '82 is worth $11,500 and good cond. is worth $18,000 + add $500 for RPO N90 Aluminum wheels.
81's are worth a little less. $10,900 average cond. and $15,000 good cond. + add $500 for RPO N90 Aluminum wheels.
And thats my .02 cents.
Good luck, Sarge

Way too funny!! I looked at your homepage and saw your '70 Bug convert. I thought I was the only person on this sight that liked Vettes & Bugs - I have a '67 Bug that I've had FOREVER!

Buy the '82 & keep the '81 also......Yes!!
