Remember, because you are looking for a higher end agreed value you are going to pay more than us who have "average" Vettes.

Can't wait to see pics of your "new" '79!
Well,I may be a little high, but I'm using info from NADAguides.com(I think that address is correct).Try it with your '79 & see what you come up with,"vettedreams"!!

Total premium for three cars is about $325. The Vette is $150 of it. The other two cars are Triumph TR6's.
The Triumphs don't carry anyway near the value of the Vette.

I've got State Farm on 3 cars. The 74 Vette runs about $75/6mo and has full coverage with an agreed value of $15,000. I checked several other collector car insurers and they couldn't do any better. They did come out and inspected the car to make sure it was garaged and in good condition. I have a 7,500 mile limit per year. Have had State Farm for over 30 years on all my cars and never had a problem. |thumb|

Grundy Insurance for me. I have full coverage 12 months a year. $15000 dollar coverage for 175 a year. No one under 21 to drive the vette but, you must keep it in a garage. Unlimited mileage. Frank

I have Hagerty at $186 for 20k agreed value, they told me 2500 miles per year, but heard that it went up to 5000 per year. They never asked for my odometer reading, when I asked about it, they stated they go by the "honor" system.

Hey,could you give me some details guys-yrs of corvettes, what coverages you chose, etc.? I think Hagerty had a choice of $100,000,$200,000,or $300,000 for liability.I need something to work with when I reach an actual person. My quotes have been higher than that when I used their online "quote engine".If I can state that I'm in touch with lots of vette owners,& say that prospective customers are "watching",& know what everyones paying, maybe they'll "work" with me. |biggrin| |thumb|

I've got progressive,$850. a year at $15,000 value, no deducts, no mileage, no bull. I went to all the others and got all the pictures and got everything they wanted and was set to go, BUT, I like to use my car and if I go out to eat, I don't need an armed gard standing over it.
I can park it, drive it and do anything I want with it and I'm still covered for the full amount.
The only reason I have a agreed amount is when my last car was stolen, I had to fight to get the book value.
They offered me $12,000 for my $25,000 car. So now everyones happy. You get what you want and pay for what you get.
And ,yes I got the full $25,000. |hammer| |thumb|
