After being in the mid-20s overnight and 40s/50s in the daylight last week it has been been in the 60s overnight and the 80s every day this week. Even went for a moonlit 'topless' drive Wednesday evening without needing the heater or a jacket.

Vette(s): 1979 red - oyster leather trim.
I just got my '79 Vette a month ago. Indian summer being here, I took Friday off. I drove in Gatineau park (near Ottawa) with top removed and with all the colors in the trees (fall in Quebec is similar, if not better than in Maine), it was simply "magic" !!! A dream came true. INDIAN SUMMER RULES !

It's funny how many "sick" days get used by people who own Vettes ! Especially in spring and fall.

I'm doing same as you Blue.
Michele and I took about a 3 1/2 hr. autumn cruise today, the weather is supposed to get crappy here tomorrow. Man it was great, the colors of the leaves, cool air, going slow through the state park, then occasionally standing on the throttle on the backroads, and praying a big deer don't jump out in front.

We took advantage too of the Indian summer. We took Ian out for a long drive Saturday and Sunday. Getting waves from all c3 drivers but being ignored by a z6 driver when we stopped and ate lunch at Heid's Hotdog stand. Colleen said his vette is only losing value while Ian is gaining value so what is his problem? I told her he only drives a new one to impress people. He doesn't love it like she loves Ian. I also rode my bike around Oneida Lake Sunday and today. very scenic here in upstate NY

I have the opposite problem, here in FLA it has been 90+ and finally we are having low 80's during the day. Yea ha! Tops are finally back off.
