We have decided on having the annual C3VR Gathering out west this year and mid-USA in 2008, but maybe in 2009 we need to ship our Vettes to Europe for a 2-week Gathering/road tour.

JJoyal,

I have driven US 1 from Ft. Lauderdale to Key West over a dozen times and after the first time... It ain't much. Most of it two-lane 25 - 35 MPH and jam packed with traffic. It's the longest 180 mile drive ever. Plan on 5 hours!!!

Terry..... Killer catch... Yum! Northern????

In case you want to make the flat, boring drive down to Panama City, FL, there are a bunch of tasty catches there too;

Hurry, it's heavy!!

Tasty Blacktip

Jaws, 1 & 2

Bring it on!!!

[QUOTE=Norsky] Check the next National Corvette Caravan scheduled to get folks to the NCM's 15th anniversary in 2009.  For the 50th NCC in 2003 the MN/WI/IA/IL/IN caravans gathered at "The Brickyard".  850+ Vettes got to take a parade lap.  35 mph max but it was way Cool anyway...!!!

Wow thats really cool Jim, nice picture Thumbs%20Up  I think last year for the Indy 500 they actually had a Pace Car Reunion, I was too late to register and couldn't get the time off Cry They got to do a parade lap before the big race I believe, now how fun would that be.

Dave'
Cute little sharks. Did you take one to the taxidermy and have it mounted on a plaque? That would be cool at Corvette car shows.

Also, did you grill the meat on you BBQ? Tender Shark Steak.....YUM!

I did that drive - KW and back to WPB- last December during vacation.  It would have been MUCH better in a vette.

Hey  Jeff, I did the KW drive on my 30th anniversary a few years ago, great ride but like you said so much sweeter in a vette Smile which I hope to do in a couple of years, because I have to finish building my garage so I can rebuild my vette. Although this would be a great time of the year to do it. To badCry
