[QUOTE=Dejablu] Hey, Bryan. I was stationed at Kaneohe from 1974 to 1977. I agree, the Pali Tunnel and highway was a great challenge. Nice view and scenery too. I didn't have a vette then, but sure wish I would have. Didn't get my first one until about 4 years ago.

From 1 Larry to another never say never. Ya see I know this dude in Alaska that I believe works for this freight company. Depending on where we may decide I bet if we brought him an that green Stingray of his along a deal coud be worked out. Stranger things have happened...

Larry #1: I was stationed at Kaneohe from 1993 to 1996. I was in the corvette club then and did all of the parades, all over the island. It was a blast.
Larry #2: Sounds like a great plan to me! It would be a blast to drive in HI again. Of course AK is great in the summer. I spent two years in Anchorage. Maybe we could work out a deal to head up there???

If ya'all are interested I can work somthing out, It would take me some time for the details and authorization but, last year we had 45 old cars that drove in a caravan from all over the USA, we put 3 cars to a 53 foot flatbed trailer and put them on the ship and sent them South. So set up a year and I'll start working on the company President? But,
there are no roads up here for the cars we drive? Thats why I ship mine out every year..
You a'll want to bring your cars to ALASKA??

From what I have heard of AK, it would be a great run for my '97 Jeep Wrangler, don't think I'd wanna make a cross-country 'Vette run...

My first choice would be to drive Route 66. Driving US 1 down the east coast and PCH down the west coast would be high on my list also.
