My 69 has been a racer since the day it was sold. If you don't know the story in a nut shell it was a L88 convertible, 4 speed, radio heater delete car. In 71 it wrecked at Rockingham dragway (boy would I like a picture of that) and was rebodied as a 68 T-Top. Over the years it gained a Greenwood front end but still only has the L88 flares on the rear. After going through some 427s it now has a 350 with a manual valve bodied aut transmission.
The local vintage group here in Texas has issued challenge after challenge to keep it off the track and each time I've been able to document that it is correct. Now they insist that I document a simular car being raced prior to 75. Anybody have a picture of a C3 T-top with a 350 auto and a greenwood front with L88 rear flares racing prior to 1975? At this point I really want to show them up.

I'm guessing that is going to be a pretty tough thing to find.
Good luck...!!!

I kind of guess that is why they tossed that one out there. Now if I had some caviar, stuck my little finger out when drinking tea or a big toter home and an enclosed trailer and had taken a car with no history and made it look like a race car I'd be fine. As my buddy likes to say "I poke badgers with a fork"

Do you think Rockingham or other tracks would have old movies of the races?

I spoke with them. Great folks, but they do not have the records from the time before they owned the track.
