Vette(s): 1979, 350sb, as my kids affectionately call it "shit brown" Corvette purchased in 1996. 84,000+ miles. Not a show car, but I love her just the same.
I like it.  I noticed this one on Ebay too.  Congratulations on your new acquisition.  Not to say you should, but hopefully you will drive the car more than the PO did!  Great job on being the high bidder.  How many snipers out there drove your final price up in the final few minutes of the auction?

Vette(s): 1978 greenwood custom vette, 468 blower motor side pipes.
Looks really clean. Enjoy it !! Also, I cannot emphasize enough to have you and your passengers aware of the sidepipes. They are great, but can ruin a beautiful trip if someone forgets.
Congratulations John. Nice car. Just remember to throw your legs waaaaaaaay out when you get out of the car. You'll learn fast.
I was also referring to the sidepipes.

Vette(s): 1971 convertible,375 HP 350ci,Muncie 4-speed,Edelbrock aluminum heads and RPM air-gap manifold,HEI distrubiter - old school mechanical tach drive. LOUD side exhaust!

Thanks everyone! The car had a buy it now price, so that's what I used. The bidding was up to 13K, but from what I've seen, people usually set their reserve just below the buy it now price. So I took the plunge.

Mike - I'm looking forward to testing out that 406!
