Vette(s): 1971 convertible,375 HP 350ci,Muncie 4-speed,Edelbrock aluminum heads and RPM air-gap manifold,HEI distrubiter - old school mechanical tach drive. LOUD side exhaust!

I finally found one, here's the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem& ;item=4634516040

I've talked with the seller extensively, and I took the plunge. I hope to go up in a week and pick it up. Better pics when I get there. I don't think I'll be sleeping much tonight

Congratulation! I was watching this one myself! Does the number on the front pad of the block(original) match the last six mumbers of the VIN? You are going to truly enjoy ypur "first" Vette. Keep us posted once you pick it up.

Yes, the numbers match, although I really don't know what shape it is in. The engine currently in the car is a 406 small block. The previous owner had a buddy who owned an engine shop, hence the new motor.

Another side perk - my route back home will take me right past Bowling Green...I forsee some great photo opportunities!
