O
I just picked up a T-Top holder for the '80 off ebay. They never come up so it was cool to see one. I got it for $260. I'll try to put a pic on here if I can figure it out.
I can't wait to try it out.

Yo Kebo! A T-Top holder holds your T-Tops (when you take 'em off for a fun ride) so they don't get messed up when you stick them in the back cubby hole of your shark.

I think maybe what Dennis is talking about getting here is the T-top holder mechanism that mounts to the outside luggage rack--?? I have heard about these, but had never actually seen one in person or in photos...until I found my sidepipes. The guy who sold them to me had a '77, and he showed me a photo of it with the T-tops mounted outside, on the rear rack. The shot was from a distance, so i couldn't see any detail--but I told him how rare I believed that option was. I don't even know if it was factory-installed; or a dealer add-on; or perhaps an aftermarket item.
Dennis, more detail! (as well as anybody else who has more solid info than my vague impression above!)
