It was a 17 year old girl in her parents Mercury Sable.At least they have insurance. |eek|

Thanks,guys.I finally got a look at my Vette yesterday.I couldnt see much when it happened...they took me from the drivers seat to a back & neck brace straight into the ambulance.I couldnt believe how bad it was |eek| The frames was even bent.I cant believe I'm walking around after that one.The other car was right next to mine in the Washington State Patrol lot.Theres an investigation to determinw whether to file vehicular assault on the other driver. Is this time of year good for Vette shopping?

Hey Jon...glad to hear your ok. Sorry to hear about your car. Its always sad to hear things like this. Unfortunatly we all take the same risk when we take the babies out of the garage. It's getting more and more scary to drive out there with the SUV's getting bigger and Vette's being so close to the ground....and not to mention the drivers talking on the cell phones |cussing|
Thank God you were able to walk away from it. Keep your chin up dude....once a C3er always a C3er |cheers| .

glad to hear you doing ok. keep us posted on your recovery. i have a lot of experience on having dumb drivers run into me. had a bus run a stop sign and after i stopped before hitting him. he made a left turn and drove over my hood. got a real close look at his rear tires

Thanks,guys for your support.Its been a pretty screwed up last few years.Not including the major vette accident,I have owned 4 different vehivles,and they've all been run into,etc.One other that couldve killed me was on a dark rainy night in a 87 toyota Corolla driving into town along the highway concrete divider.There was another vehicle almost beside me,when a deer ran out into my lane & just stopped.I was doing around 55 mph,& couldnt swerve one way or another so I slammed on the brakes.I hit the deer,& it went up over my windshield thanfully,instead of into it,or I wouldve been wearing a deer necklace!Car was totalled!........I still cant sleep on my left side after my vette accident-my necks still screwed up enough that if I roll over that way during the nite,I wake up with a major headache.I was in pain all day yesterday.You know,the kind where you cant even move your eyeballs around?I took oxycodon,& also some over the counter stuff to no avail. |sad| Anyway,my "new" 79 is coming along.I just put in some custom fiberglass rear speaker enclosures covered with black carpet that surround the Pioneer 6x9 spkrs,and a red-walnut looking console & center guage trim that looks good.Got some new black carpet that I will put in sometime before spring cruising weather. |saluteflag|
