If it's anything like 74's, the passenger side mirror (like the luggage rack) was a dealer installed option.

I'm going to meet the seller a Corvette Mikes (do you know the place?), and take possession there.  Going to have the car checked out, and decide to either trailer it back home, or begin a nice little road trip home.

I'd say you did well.  She's a keeper.  The real  test of how well you did is the size of the smile on your face.  Ought to be a BIG one.
