I am in Hot Springs for a mini vacation and cannot remember where we went during the c3vr gathering here in 2008. I know it was up very high and could see for miles. We had lunch and there was a gift shop. Does anyone remember the itinerary and where we stayed in Hot Springs. Thanks. Ed.

We went to Petite Jean State Park one day, and on top of the mountain we stopped for lunch at Mather Lodge. NOt sure if this is the one you're talking about, since this was the day your brakes took a doo-doo, and Terry Spielman's fuel pump also. Ouch

Here's a link to the Gathering agenda for HS, if it helps. Thumbs Up

Big smile  That was guite a day. Talk about "TEAM" work. EVERYBODY helped to make the problems disappear. That is only ONE of the many reasons this group stays together. We're all friends!

We also went to Queen Wilimena Lodge, which is also on a mountain west of Mena Arkansas. Unfortunately, that lodge is currently under renovation. I would go to Petit Jean since Wilimena is out of action. The restaurant has been remodeled and is great, much better than our last visit.

I would offer to tour guide you, but I have a group of 7 Vettes headed to Branson tomorrow morning for an overnight trip.

Enjoy the Arkansas beauty while you are here.
