Not sure what year vette you have but my 76 I think is located by the fuse block under the dash. It has a Dk Green, Red and Black wires running to it. Yours if probably newer than mine since you have cruise. Let us know what year and someone will chime in.

Eaglenest has a '77, according to his profile. The horn relay should be under the dash, by the fuse box. Most of them are just hanging there, not attatched to anything! If you push on the horn button, do you hear a "click" under the dash? If you do, the relay is probably working. You may have a bad horn, or wiring.

Anyone got a wiring diagram for a '77?

It a black relay.  It has three wires.  One is an orange or red wire that is hot all the time.  The second wire goes out to the horn it'self.  As I recall, it's a green wire.  The remaining wire goes to the steering column and up to the horn button.

The hot lead operates both the horn and relay.  When the horn button is  grounded, the relay activiates and supplies power to the horn.

is there anything that will brighten up dull turn signal-reverse light lens without buying new ones?

Try a product called "Fliz". It works pretty well, depending on how bad your lenses are.

Oddly enough, tooth paste and a polishing rag can do a good job.
