Wow, 160 + , not possible with my 68 big block.
Max is about 130 at 6500 RPM with the 3,70 rear end.
Had it up to 120 for short time just for trial ( this is legal when I do it on a German Highways ),
but with the old suspension, it feels tricky. Plenty of power left, this engine just keeps pulling.
Can't imagine the nose lifting with the heavy weight concrete big block in it.
My normal highway cruising speed is about 85 Miles at 4500 RPM.
I need a overdrive gearbox , something down to 0.65 or so.
The big block has plenty power to keep the speed at 2500 RPM.
Well, our EURO is very strong by now, equal to the US$, so may be in the near future.
