What is wrong with me, I just bought another Corvette! Now I'm up to three. This one's a 1980 and in fair shape. It drives great, the only problem is, the PO put a GM crate motor in but didn't get the smog equipmnt put back on correct (Calif. is REAL strict on smog setup!!) so it wouldn't pass inspection so I got for a song. It was just to good to pass up !.......... OK, NO MORE CRAIG'S LIST FOR ME !

Wow! Apparently, unlike many of our members (including myself), you're obviously not married!
I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!

Congratulations, Daniel. I'd like to get a chrome bumper vette one of these days. Still looking.

I keep telling my wife that a collection starts with "1". She don't buy it and keeps hitting back with that "New furniture" line. Heck, the furniture's only about 33 years old and it's never been caught in the rain, so I think it's just fine.

yeah jeff, you gotta figure that furniture has basically been "garage kept" for 33 years so i'm sure there's no rust on it yet. What you have there is "trailer queen furniture"
I'd hang on to that.

If I ever get a barn for storage, I'd like to have one of each generation.
Then I could have a different driver for each day.
Yes, I am waiting for the C7 model. That's my next Vette.

Maybe I should sign it up for the next big auction, you know, play it up big, haul it into the place in a big enviroment controlled customized trailer.
