Vette(s): 1975 L-48, 4 speed, side pipes, currantly and continually under repair.
Build Date: June 16, 1975
Welcome rabbit,
Good to see another 75 onboard. I have been redoing my 75 off and on for the past 3 years and I am finally winning the battle.
All mechanics are almost done. just need to do some minor rewireing and all is ready for the final phase, NEW PAINT.
I am returning the vette back to it's original color, Bright Yellow, code 56. There were times I was tempted to just sell it and get a newer vette but then I come to my senses and relized I would have to start all over again, so I stayed with it and now it seems like it is all worth it. My car drives like it just came off the show room floor. Good Luck with yours and again Welcome to the C3VR.

G'Day Mate...!!! Welcome aboard C3VR to you and your wife.
Sounds like with all the work you've done on your '75 you will have lots of helpful info to share with others as they tackle projects.
Good luck with the rest of your projects as well and post some pics when you can.

Vette(s): 1979, 350sb, as my kids affectionately call it "shit brown" Corvette purchased in 1996. 84,000+ miles. Not a show car, but I love her just the same.
Warren:
I realize GM Holden never made Corvettes so I have a question for you. Have you left the vehicle as left hand drive or converted it to right hand drive for those Aussie highways?
I spent 4 months in and around Adelaide back in '92 and met a chap in Mannum who had a Vette (not sure what the year was, but believe it was a early '70's model) who had switched the handing on his ride.
Not sure if most of the Yanks on this site would even realize you blokes drive on the "wrong" side of the road. No easy feat to get used to walking over to our normal passenger side of a car after 30 hours in the air just to start the car...then drive on the opposite side of the road from what I was used to. Took me a few weeks, and some close calls, to get used to it.
Anyway, welcome to the site. Great to have you here.

Hello Mark
I brought my vette in early 2000 and it was already right hand drive which for me was a bonus, over here you can leave them left hand if you put it on club reg or if the car is over i think it's 30 years old.
