DON'T KNOW IF THIS HELPS BUT CHECK THE SWITCHES UP UNDER THE DASH, THERE IS ONE THEY IS, IF I REMEBER, ON THE FIREWALL OR THE TACH, HARD TO FIND REPLACEMENT PART, GOT MINE FROM BLAIRS, I THINK. ANYWAY I HAD SAME ISSUE EXCEPT IT WAS MY WIPER DOOR, AFTER SERVERAL DOLLARS AND A SHOP THAT TOOK THE TIME, GET ALL MY VAC HOSES CORRECT AND FOUND SWITCH UNDER DASH WAS THE CULPRIT. GOOD LUCK HOPE IT HELPS, KNOW THAT ARE MANY HERE WITH DEEPER KNOWLEDGE, WELCOME TO THE WEBSITE.

Are you saying they did NOT do this before you changed all the parts?
If the check valve is bad, the headlights would raise when you turn the engine off.
If the vaccuum lines are not connected to the relay valves properly, or if the valves are faulty, it could cause this.
The vac. lines on the relay valves should be:
Red on top
Yellow in the center
Green on bottom
Yellow is the main vac. source from the reservoir.
Red goes to the rear (hood side) of the actuators
Green goes to the front(bumper side) of the actuators.

So....yer sayin YOU caused this, eh?
Double-check all yer vac. fittings for correct placement first. I have some vac. trouble-shooting info I can send you, if you need it. P/M me if you do...

If the hoses are all in the correct locations, then the check-valve, or the relay valves are not operating properly. It could be the hoses on the over-ride valve...maybe.
I sent you a P/M...the diagrams will be on their way in aboot 16 minutes and 38 seconds!

I had replaced the origional check valve on mine once and had similar problem. Took old valve and sprayed with wd 40 then put it back and cured door opening trouble. Lazy light was small hole in last light to open.
