Howdy looking for a 1972 454 manual. White with black interior and hard top. Used to be around Denver about 20 years ago.

Welcome aboard...!!!
As I remarked in a recent thread over the years there have been a BUNCH of threads of folks looking for "lost" cars. Many, MANY years ago the searching was much easier but with the increase of privacy laws over time that has made the searching a lot more difficult. Pieces of info that will help in your search are having the VIN (vehicle identification number), a copy of a title, a vehicle registration document, a purchase agreement, etc. Anything that has info particular to the car or past ownership. Paint schemes/colors/graphics can change over time so what you remember the car looked like back in the day may not be what it looks like today.
You're starting in the right direction tho' - by asking for help. Someone somewhere has knowledge of it. You just never know who will answer and have some recollection of car. Best of luck with your search....!!!

Thanks. I don't have the vin but I plan on doing a records search of vehicles my grandpa owned with help from my uncle the executor of his estate. Then I can track it pretty easy once I have the vin. Just putting out feelers here

In the VR database there currently are 11 '72 convertibles with a 454ci and manual tranny - most don't have pictures displayed. Once you have the VIN check it against one of those registered cars - Grandpa's car might be one of them. 🤞
