First time since probably November, maybe even October! Felt pretty good. It was very dusty, but it was running good so I decided to take it out for a 20 minute drive. Started to rain at the end and it washed all the dust off. Wiped it down with microfiber after I got it back in the shop - Bubba car wash!
Starting to think about plans to get it ready for the gathering this summer. I know for sure either the extend or retract P/S hose is leaking - ordered new Delcos for both last night. (I hate those little hoses - I've replaced them too many times) Also, the radiator - I started it up a month or so ago and that time I had a coolant drip that looked like it was coming from the rad but this time it wasn't leaking at all. Going to have to keep my eye on it.
Finally, thinking about a luggage rack, original chrome style, 8-bolt like the dealer installed option for 76-77. I've wanted one since I've owned the car, but have never quite gotten the courage to buy one and then drill into my clean, straight rear deck.

I plowed my driveway out to the garage that holds my vettes and checked for mice, does that count for anything. We have had a crazy warm winter this year so thinking we will be able to get the cars out a little sooner this year,

We've had a mild winter too, and I've been able to take the Vette out at least once each week. Love these kind of winters. Just wish we had a little more rain here in Kansas.

Good to see you guys shaking out the cobwebs, we've had some nice days out here over the past week. Unfortunately all I can do is go Vroom, Vroom and look at the large hole in my '73 where the engine and trans used to be. Engine is back from rebuild and on the stand, rebuilt trans is also ready to bolt back up today. Scheduled to drop it in tomorrow night. So far everything has gone as planned, fingers crossed on initial fire up !!
