My wife and I were childless tonite, so we decided to take the Vette out to a nearby town and have dinner. It was a nice cool evening, so the tops came off (the car, not the wife!) and we hit the road. We decided on Sonic, so we could stay in the car. I've only had the Vette for a month, and this is her first real ride in it, other than the test drive. After dinner we cruised out to go home and we passed a really nice red 81, both of us had our hand hanging out the tops, and so this the other driver. All three of us had big silly grins on our faces! It was great! The wave is alive and well in south Georgia!

Hey Contrail,
Glad to here you, your wife and the guy in the '81 are keeping the Wave alive. I Wave at all Vettes whether they Wave or not. These are special cars that we own and the comradery between us owners should be just as special. Keep up the good work and have fun with the '77. Take care and remember, "I WAVE 2".

Took the coupe (and wife) out to burgermaster tonight. Car hop type burger joint. As we were leaving we got a nice wave from a C2 driver and his wife that were just turning in.

I have been waving at vettes all day today! :) Had to out to run some errands, and it's hot here, so the vettes are all out to play in the canyons and stuff.
Yesterday I had a torch vert right next to me at a long light, he didn't even look over. lol

Here in New England there are not enough good crusing
days in the year! I have a 25 year old silver anniversary
car and it looks 25 years old! I went for a long ride
Sunday and saw 7 other Vettes. They all waved,There was
a super pretty c5 -red black top that gave me a thumbs-up! The corvette family is a tight group! I'm proud
to be part of it.
Save the wave! God Bless America!

both my wife and I wave to other Vette drivers when we ride in her 78. But to tell you the truth I learned the wave when I started riding motorcycles at 16 when other motorcyclists waved at me as a newbie. I still ride and now have a Yamaha and wave but it is a low wave with the arms down by the bike.
