Vette(s): '78 Silver Anniversary
I just purchased my brothers '78 Silver Anniversary which he has owned for the last 25+years.  It's in mint condition with only 59,218 original miles.  It has been garaged and has not been started in the past 15+.
Aside from the standard tune up, checking all belts and hoses, brakes, tires, fluid & filter changes, what other service/inspections should be made before putting it on the road?
     #6 on my bucket list!

Since it has set for that long, you might want to pull one of the front calipers and break it down to check for pitting in the piston bores.

I agree you're going to probably need brakes. The fluid most likely turned acidic and attacked the metal or turned to sludge.

Any rubber part should be checked. The seals on the trans and diff may leak.
