Just made the call myself. Guy at the other end knew exactly what I was talking about... name was Dave Girmshaw - very helpful. After placing the order, he took the time to verify a package is available for my year ('72). Said I'll see it in 4-6 wks.

i just tried to order mine but the lady told me i need more than 13# in my vin, my 73 vette only has 13#'s WHATS up with that? |confusing| |headscratch|

thats a good deal,we never had that problem b-4,most all of the c-3s only had 13,the newer Vettes have more. not a promise but a lot of the members got thiers within a week,I had to reorder mine this summer,somehow I lost the first package after i got it .the 2nd one came in 4 days |thumb|

Heh its kinda funny reading the stuff said about FEDEX now.. I am currently a driver for them during the holidays to make some cash to go back to school. I just got back in fact from making deliveries. When you got over 150 packages to deliver for the day and your not done untill all are delivered, you dont spend alot of time investigating the area for the package safety. The best way to protect your package is to get the recipiant signed release status. that way the package can only be handed to you in person and cannot be left at your doorstep. I am surprised Dell did not send your computer with a signed release. Also It is troublesome when they advertise what is inside on the box. More theft occurs because of that.
