Vette(s): 1976 Brown with Buckskin Interior. I bought her on 9/15/03 and just received it on OCT 1st 2003!! It needs interior work, and some things under the hood, but I am so excited! Just waiting for Summer of 2004 to totally show it off.
I called on OCTOBER 8th and I received my package last night - OCTOBER 14. Less than one week - pretty cool!

I know that if something is too good to be true, then it usualy is. Is this free package really lagit?

Don't think this thread would be so long if it wasn't legit.
If you're asking if the restoration package is really free then the answer is yes. What is has in it is all sorts of diagrams on how to take apart and put back together the car, engine specs, serial number and ID locations, complete option lists that are specific to your year and a ton of pages with addresses of G.M. vendors.

Sure it's legit,G.M. is into helping thier customers and the corvette has always been thier special BABY.what other model has been out there for 50 years and still running strong,they want to keep them running and looking good.And no I don't work for G.M.although it sounds like it,I've always had them and had good luck with them. I ordered my kit and got it back within a week. I was surprised that they wanted my VIN, but were unable to send me anything specific about my vette.
Anyway, its always helpful to have the info they supplied.

I got my stuff in four days. Although there was no individual stuff on my car, the information I got on specifications was pretty extensive. Hey for free it was a deal!

Has anybody had any problems getting there packet from G.M. ? I think we've got the thing down pat now,most of the people there know what you mean when you call the order in.I guess they have been sending out a lot of packets the last couple of months ,keep those phone calls coming.

The 1-800-222-1020 then 2 then 3 should get you to the right person.
Have you vin # your name and address and milage.
Looks like 4 weeks it will take to get it.
