Got our packet this last week. and Ken you got a deal from Canada. Here they couldn't include the build date, actual options, or dealer first sent to. No records here past 1981, which is when they started the 13 digit vinn numbers. I called them back to ask and that is what I was told, just like carfax.com. the new information we learned from the packet is the convenience option packet. Which has puzzled us more since Ian has a few of the options included in it but not all of them. |blinkyeyes|

Aegisfang, yeah for $45 I thought I got a ton of personalized information. Although what you guys in the US are getting for free can't be too bad considering the responses. What's in your packages?

Ken, what was in the package is 2 booklets that are photocopies , first one is all the GM information published about the 1978 Vettes and the 2nd onne a list of current dealers and shops that work on Vettes or sell parts for Vettes.So there is a lot of information about but none of it personalized for your car like Canada gm has for you |sad|
