I went to look at a convertible when I was on the search for the one I have now that looked very nice. It had just been painted and was still apart. Very nice blue paint. The frame had been detailed and finished in black. I got down on my hands and knees to look a little closer and found several big holes in the frame. They were just painted over. Not even tried to be fixed. I was nice to the guy and told him it was too big of a project for me and would pass.

Even if you have to put it off for a while, hang in there Rick. And be gentle driving until then. It may take a while but the economy will rebound.
Good luck
