Vette(s): 1978 Silver Anniversary L82 4spd (M21) Red Leather. Pace Car is in the hands of a new caretaker.
Dropped the gas tank on the Pace Car and right there on the top was the build sheet. Tongue I got what was a copy of the window sticker with the car so it was nice to find this. Looks to be in really good shape, but a 3" round section of it is glued on. Any ideas on how to get it off without messing it up? Or should I just leave it there?

Lucky Man Jeff, I doubt anything would be left of mine after 105k miles.  I'd smooth it out best you can and get a good high quality picture of it, good luck.

Hey I noticed a piece of the build sheet says CT 06757, was the Pacer originally sold in CT?

Mark,  The car was originally sent to a dealer in Kent, CT. I think that was up in the northwest corner.
I found an AM FM CB, so I'll be putting that back in.

Great find on your pacer.  Were you able to see some of the sheet before you dropped the tank?  Just curious as to whether you had a hint as to it's being there or just had to be sure.

Think I'd be in the camp of trying to capture it in photos and then leaving it in place.

I doubt it our sheet is still around on our 165k pacer.

Take care
