Hello everyone, it has been a while since I posted or participated in any of the topics. My day job along with my art work business has picked up again and I have not had much time for going on line lately. Some of you may know that I work for FedEx Exp as a driver courier and am an artist as well. I carry a camera with me everyday just because you never know what you might see or come across. Well, we had quite a bit of snow a week ago and while on my route I passed a sight I have seen too many times before. Over the past 15 years I have gone by this one home many times over and it makes me upset everytime. I just had to stop and take a photo and post it here this time. I'll call the photo "Forgotten Dreams". It's a 1973 Stingray that the owner has parked and let set for at least 15 years now. I stopped 15 years ago to see if he would sell her and he said NO ! then I stopped 5 years ago and the answer was still NO ! and a DON'T Ask Again thrown in for good measure. The poor thing is just falling apart around herself. Sad to have to see such lack of care toward such a care. There are 3 more on my route in the shape condition, the other two are a 1970 and a 1982. Makes me sick... Here is a web-link to the photo I posted on my www.flickr.com file [IMG]http://tinyurl.com/dcjymy

It's a shame. Looks like it is in pretty good shape. I know from experience that if you let one sit you will pay and pay and pay in the future

Vette(s): White '79 Corvette. It's a driver.
So sad to see those Corvettes & other beauties that just get left sitting.
Most times this doesn't bother the owner at all. It's the folks like us that feel tortured.
Go figure!

I truly hate it that this things sits like that slowly wasting away. It's a shame that the current owner won't pass it on to someone that would truly appreciate it.

It's sad, but this can be seen just about anywhere, on any given day...
What really sux, tho, is that the more someone asks about the car, the more the jerks think it must be worth some $$$, so they'll just keep it, and let it rot to h ell....then it will REALLY be worth a lot of $$$
