First car show entry!!

Well, here we go. My son, (15yrs.), decided it was time to put our 'father-son project' in to it's first show. So we found a local high school autotech class sponsored car show to enter. Big time huh???? We spent the day cleaning and waxing and we are good to go for tomorrow! The car is NOT ready for this but it is sometimes hard to argue with a teenager! He has put so many hours in to the interior and motor/drive train, that I just could not say no! The body work and paint is still to come. Anyone in north Houston tomorrow, 10/18, can stop by Cypress Creek High School and support the local boys!!

How did it go?

Several vettes were there, 70 conv., 73 conv., 82, 90, 03. None of the vettes won but the owners were all friendly and we enjoyed chatting with them. Overall winner was a 49 blown Willys. Getting ready for the next one!

This is my 3rd season for the shows.
There is nothing better than spending an afternoon with other folks that have a passion for old cars.
There are about 10 of us that have Vettes of various years that will all park together. It is a quite a site to be seen.
Sometimes you get a trophy and sometimes the reward is spending the afternoon with friends.
