Ive been meaning to do This for a long time and finally got around to it.  I always kept it in the storage compartment behind the passenger seat but with the "T"" tops strapped down over the compartment door there was no way I could get to it in a hurry.

Chip, that probally is not a bad idea. Did you just screw it down or velcro it?

Looks great. I like the way you painted it to match the interior. Nice Job!

I tried velcro but it wouldnt hold where I wanted it.  I used a metal bracket and drilled into the wheel well and used screws and nuts to hold  the bracket in place.  I screwed into the vertical wall, not downward toward the chassis.  I hope I never need it but seated behind the wheel I can reach back and have the extinguisher in my hand in seconds.

It will be a great asset if you come upon a situation where some one else needs it also.
