Well, being on vacation I had plenty of time to look for corvettes on the internet. Being as I am from Southern Pa I was searching any and all vette classifieds ads in Pa, Md, Ohio, Jersey and New York. I couldnt find anything that was in my budget that was what I would call a decent value for my money. Friday night I decided to search ads from West Virginia and Virginia and I found a 72 vert in a Virginia ad that looked decent by the pics. Since it was about midnight I couldnt call but first thing Saturday morning I was on the phone with them. To my surprise the owner was from Pa only about 50 miles from where I live. After talking to him I was almost positive this was the car for me. But he wouldnt hold it without a deposit. I called a friend around 11:00 in the morning and he said he would go look at it for me. At 3:30 my friend called me and told me that he put a deposit on the car for me and I am planning on picking up the vette on Monday or Tuesday night. I am so excited right now. My wife thinks I'm crazy and she wonders where I am going to be keeping this one. Its a bright yellow with a white top, saddle interior, 350 engine, automatic trans. Originally it was Onterio Orange. I would like to see what one would look like in that color with white top and saddle interior. I will get pics up as soon as I get it home. I just hope nothing goes wrong with this purchase that I end up not getting it. I am sure I will have a ton of questions but this one has to be a slow restore! Its going to be a weekend driver till i get it restored.

Yeah, that sounds familiar. It's a good thing there's no more room in my driveway (or money in my pocket
). Lord only knows what it might look like around here if I lived on flat ground. I just love these cars.
