Fellow sharks in Minneapolis area

I would like to find a few members in the Minneapolis, MN area to chat with. I only know one other shark owner in the area and it so happens that he has the same car that I do, even the color. Anyway, if you live in the area, drop me an email.

I'm about as far west of Minneapolis as you are south of the city. My bride's brother lives in Northfield so we pass through that part of the metro every so often. I hope to get to at least one of the gatherings at Grossman Chev this season.

all right, i was waiting for my email to work again, but it doesn't. I'm quite close to you Dave. I live probly about 20 miles away. I'm about 10 miles east of Cannon Falls. Where and when are these Grossman chevrolet events?? I'm out at school right now, but will be done soon, let us know if you'd like to meet up somewhere and go for a drive, but not anywhere too far, i'll run out of gas before you guys even get started!!! Good to hear that there are a few of us around.

Do you guys recomend a shop for doing work on sharks?

there's a corvette specialties place up in the bloomington, don't know whole lot about them though. I usually work on my own car, what are you trying to fix??

Well, the car runs very well, it just doesn't sound very strong during hard exceleration and I need someone who knows more about cars than I do to help me pin point what it is.

I had a gas leak last fall and brought it to a shop, they fixed the leak, but don't feel they did much to answer my questions. Especially for what I paid them.

I just don't want to pay someone 90 bucks to tell me nothing again. I also am looking for someone that can rebuild the engine for less than a second mortgage amount. I don't care if I have a fast car, I just want it to run clean and it is hard to find someone who knows these cars. I think I found one in Jordon, MN today.

Any suggestions? I think it has a manafold leak, but not sure. Thanks for any help.

There's a place in Excelsior called First Class Car Care that I've heard good things about. I haven't used them myself (yet) but a neighbor down the road takes his C4 there whenever he needs some work done and swears by them (versus at them!). Whenever I drive past there the mix of 'toys' sitting around the place is most impressive.
