Sarge, did they give you a shipping date? My understanding is that they are hundreds backlogged (600 hp version) due to supplier shippng issues. I like what I've read on their tbi's but the fcc is causing nightmares.

Greg, I was told any where from 3-6 weeks.
Here is a statement from their Facebook page. It sounds like they are getting things together. I don't mind the wait as long as the product is good.
Nobody ever expected the success we are having with this product and we feel blessed to be part of this awesome wave!
Thanks,
Ken Farrell

BTW i have been chasing 70-71 442's as my next ride (keeping my vette of course) I have found that if you don't know what your looking at you could end up with a clone! Not that there bad but I could make a clone myself and save $$$.
Take care
Kevin

I just saw that on their page as well and was going to post it up. I also like that they test every unit, I hope that whatever the issue(s) ith the fcc is that it gets fixed. Looking fwd to reading your review.

Congrats on the conversion Kevin....!!!
Sarge, I'm looking at that same setup (from Pace Performance) to put on "BIGBRRD". Just don't want to be fooling around with a carb in the mountains. Going to use their Fuel Command Canister and pull the charcoal filter out. Their tech suggested using one of the return vapor lines to drain any excess fuel back to the tank.

That's awesome to hear Kevin!

I just ordered a EFI unit from FiTech for my wife's newly acquired '87 Olds 442 w/350 Olds "Rocket" engine. I've heared very good review's about this system, so I guess I'll be a guinea pig. The FiTech unit starts at $795. They are doing a $100 rebate until the end of May. I opted for the 600 hp model incase I want to get a little crazy under there. lol.
Thanks for the update!

Hey Jim, I'll update you with my opinion of their system when I get it and get it installed. I think it should work with your shaker hood scoop on BIGBRRD. I measured the height on a old Rochester 4 bbl carb. They are the same height.

Kevin - still liking the TBFI conversion? Any other issues pop up?
Sarge - Have you gotten all your FITech stuff yet? The TBFI unit showed up yesterday but the fuel command center is on back order and the kids at Pace Performance don't have an eta on it yet. Sent an e-mail to the FITech kids late last week but haven't received a reply from them yet. Was hoping to do the swap over the holiday weekend but will have to put a hold on it until the FCC shows up.

Jim, I now have my all FiTech stuff. Looks like I will be tackling that project in August now.
I had a couple unexpected projects this summer come up. Plus with preparation for the Annual Gathering my play time really got shortened up. But I will keep you in the loop when I bust the wrenches out. lol.
