That's a really, really expensive solution ($2K) for a carb thats loading up. For a mild 350, you could go with an Edelbrock 1406 and will basically run out of the box and be very close. IMHO...

Here is a affordable system to check out. I believe one of our member here tried out this system with good success.

Thanks..
I agree its expensive

I am on my 2nd performer as i thought the 1st must be defective but its still having the same issue around town. Again on the road it runs like a champ but stop lights are a problem. (i may just have to runem!)
everything else seems to check ok. If i have to efi to solve this i just will have to bite the bullet. Any other thoughts??
Thanks again

I made the switch this summer.
Rather than a whole bunch of explanation take a look at my post here:

Overall I am very happy I made the switch. Good performance and reasonable price. My kit cost $1350 including the fuel system.

Thanks great news to hear Kevin. Sounds like it all went together ok for you. Any minor glitches during the install?
Yeah it is a more money than a carb, but if ones budget allows EFI is hard to beat.
Can you post pictures sometime? I'd really like to see it.

Really no glitches except a few busted knuckles!!!!!! I let it learn on its own which was really close to optimum but I decided to tweak the WOT AFR ratio. Just move it 1% at a time and run it for a bit. Honestly I may reset and let it go back to the factory defaults. For now i'm just seeing if I can do better, but i don't think it can be done!! The only glitch i have found is I think I am burning more fuel----But really I don't even watch MPG or GPM!!
I just drive it like I stole it!
I will post some pics later.
