Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.
Send me a PM I have Word Documents I took off the net with picture of a couple of C3 ramp projects.  When I find something I may find useful I just convert it to MS Word and save it.  If you do not have MS word let me know and I will convert it to .pdf file and any computer can read it.

I built ramps using these plans. I used 2 2*6's side by side to save some money. Also put in electrical outlets and lights. I placed the upright studs at 16" centers. The 1/2" plywood will support a lot of weight. I put hinges on the ramps so that the ramps are stable and quickly detached by pulling the hinge pins.
The ramps are short enough to allow the frame to clear the ramps as I go up and short enough so that I can close the garage door with the ramps attached. The ramps are really heavy, so you'll have to think about storeage. I just leave them where they are and drive the car up and down; it just takes seconds.
I'm working on positioning mirrors so that I can derive up there without opening the door to go up the ramp. If you want pic's; PM me and I'll send you a bunch

I built a set out of 2x12's with 16" on centers 19" high. Works great! Also put in electrical outlets and lights. Ramps are made of 2x12's 8' with supports every 16 " best thing I ever built. Only have $75.00 in them.

IF you measure center to center across the tires, then place the center of the ramps the same distance, you can't go wrong.

I put tape on the floor to locate the ramps. I added a 1*4" tie at the front to keep the spacing. Here are a few photos.
