Hi Gunther
Yes, as far as I know, the vin sticker is on the 68 as well. I beleive it was 68 - 75 that had the same sticker I ordered. It has the following wording:
MFD. BY GENERAL MOTORS CORP.
THIS VEHICLE CONFORMS TO ALL APPLICABLE FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARDS IN EFFECT ON THE DATE OF MANUFACTURE SHOWN ABOVE.
It also contains the month and year of the build plus your VIN number.
It is attached/displayed in the drivers door jam.
Hope this helps.

Vette(s): 1973 T-Bar Coupe, LS4 454 engine AT with 275 hp, Bright Yellow (Paint Code: 952) with a Dark Saddle interior (Trim Code : 418) 75K Build date: June 20th 1973, Numbers Matching except Alternator and Starter. Very original car.
Looks like I joined a few days late to help you. I have a pic of my door panel sticker if you need to know where to type the info. My appraiser told me to document my door sticker with a photo along with many other things about my vette.
Drive it like you stole it!! P.D.
