Ouch man that hurts all the way over here in S.E.Indiana... I always like the stuck like a hog look. It's the only time I can develop some compassion for my wrong doings from my wife...

Lost most of my very thick hair also. Wrap your head in foam
rubber and then put on a football helmet, works for me.

"Most" women???! Me, not one of those!! I've busted knuckles on mine. 
I've taken things apart too and didn't hook it back up right, then had to do a re-do.
