Vette(s): 1976 stingray, 350 C.I. 325HP 4 speed, t-tops white.
Just this morning I picked up the Vette after having brake parts replaced and went to fill up with gas.  While getting gas another Vette pulled in, a C-5, and what do you know, no head shake or hello, just a stuck up C-5 owner.  I guess this gut thought his Vette was better, or a better class than the C-3.  I say to myself, anyone can own a C-5 but it takes CLASS to own a C-3.  C3VR rulesThumbs%20Up.

We have all experienced it.  I doubt if he knows how to check the oil in his "better" car. Im afraid the wave will eventually die because of jerks like that.  I think there should be a copy of the "corvette commandments" stenciled under the hood of every corvette sold.

The problem with that is most of them DON'T Open the hood themselves. They send it into someone to take care of that stuff for them!

Vette(s): White '79 Corvette. It's a driver.
Every time I think I have my mind made up about newer Vette owners being absolutely clueless, one (finally) goes by and gives an enthusiastic wave.
GO FIGURE! Confused

Robert, hey I own a C5 and C3 don't feel like a lone ranger I even get the same from another C5 owner and even a C4 guy one time. Hell I stopped and helped a C4 owner one time when he had a overheat problem and you would have though he thought I was a A##H**E for doing that. Hey real vett owners that are real true to life enthusis know the differents. C6's never wave but by god I do. Have fun thanks.

They think that they are in a totally different class. A lot are proffession people with major incomes. they basically look down on older vettes, as just old cars. this is the sign we should give to themThumbs%20Down. The only problem is then we are lower ourselves to their level........and we arew better than thatThumbs%20Up

Or he might have been dreading the "Corvette Conversation".   "Oh God, please don't let that C3 owner ask me a question about my C5!  I don't know anything about it.  I just bought it cause its a chick magnet."
