Just out of curiosity, what collector insurance companies, if any, do most of you use. I have recieved quotes from Grundy and Haggerty's. I was wondering if any of you have had any issues with either company.

I have been with Hagerty for 3 years and no problems. I have heard that once you file a claim, they will pay it and then drop you like a hot potato though. Just a rumor, don't know anyone thats happened to.
Cost is $120.00 a year, with agreed replacement value of $14k.

I like the people at Hagerty, no problems so far, and very fair rates. I have a feeling just about any of the collector insurance companys will dump you once there is a substantial claim though. Good chance Hagerty won't cover you if your car is not mostly original, they seem to frown or jack the rates for anything that is modded out for high performance.

I have a State Farm collector policy. It was priced very similar to Haggerty. Check with their local office. Limited miles and locked garage are part of the requirements. Good Luck! 82CE Owner

I found the site at this address. http://www.aon.com/us/indiv/collector_car_insurance.jsp
You can= follow inside the site to the collector area and get a quote. They seem to be inline with Grundy and Hagerty
