Has anyone tried cleaning aluminum intakes or transmission cases with a high pressure (3000psi) water wash? Mine are off the car and accessible. Is there a better way?

Vette(s): 1975 C3 Red, T-Tops, Black Interior. All I need is time and money! Getting there!

I don't see any problem. Parts hot tanks use water and a soap solution.
