I recently decided to wash my fairly new car cover. I wanted to make sure that it didn't have dirt or other debris that could hurt my car during winter storage. I looked for the care label buit had no luck finding it. Anyway, I washed it and dried it, It came out really clean. As I was folding it to take it back to the car, I found the label. Guess what, I wasn't supposd to wash it.
If any one has a Mini Cooper and needs a cover let me know.

I recently washed my cover because I was getting streaking /smearing on the paint when I put it on the vette. Washed in the machine on delicate cycle, dryed outside. Came out fine. |thumb|

Did you wash it in the home washing machine? I didn't think mine would fit in the machine. I have been thinking about taking mine down town and putting it in one of those commercial macines and letting it run it course. If it comes out ok, then I will use it. I don't really want to put the cover on the car now as it has been setting on the shelf for about 2 years now with out being used. No telling what all has accumulated in there.
