I catch myself waving at other Vettes even when I am not in mine. 90% of them usually give me that cocked eyebrow look!
Who cares...keeps me in practice for when I am in my Vette!!
(I like the double wave smilie!!)
My theory on Corvette owners that don't wave:
If you are like me, when you are driving to and from work in your "non-vette" you are most likely "zoning"! You know what I mean...when you get home and you aren't sure exactly which route you just took!!
Anway, most non-waving Vette owners are driving C5s, some C4s. The vast majority of C5 and C4 owners use their Vettes as their primary commuting vehicle. I don't think that they are being snobs, I believe they are in the "zone mode"! They just don't see you!! Another reason that I believe this is the case, is that many times I noticed when I did not get an immediate response from my wave, I would look into the rearview mirror and see a delayed wave. Their brains jumped from the normal "drive zone" into the "Wave Zone"!!
Most of us that own C3 and older model Corvettes, are always in the Wave Zone, because we drive them only on special occasions and we are watching for people to notice us!! This keeps us focused!
Wave on!!!

Like most everyone else, I also finding myself waving to other Vettes when driving one of the other sets of wheels in the "Family Fleet". But when out cruisin' in "The Toy" I try not to limit "The Wave" to just other Vettes, but to anyone who is out enjoying their special ride, whether it be a vintage whatever from the early 1900s to the latest exotic super car. We all have one thing in common - we're all out there enjoying the freedom of driving around in our own special set of wheels...!!!

I'm actually looking into getting a C3VR static cling window sticker to send to C3VR members.
If I got them, would you guys/gals use them?

I would put a C3VR sticker on my Corvette AND my everyday vehicle! Will it be the current logo (top of page)?

Yes, it would be the current logo.
I'm looking for suggestions on where/who to use to get them printed.
Anyone know of anyone/any place that does this?
Thanks!

Vette(s): 1976 bright yellow T-Top purchased new 6/76.
For many years I had an '81 daily driver but sold it several years ago for a front drive ricer. Now the Mrs. has a '95 coup & I still have the '76.
Adam:
Check with Bruce W. in CCDV. He had some made up not too long ago. I think it's a great idea!
ALSO, I'm not trying to make excuses, but perhaps C5 drivers aren't knowledgeable enough to recognize older Vettes? Shame on them!
