Vette(s): Used to own a 1979 Corvette now owned by JB79
So today, drove my Vette, while wearing my C3VR Polo Shirt.
I considered wearing my Corvette Cross-Flags hat, but thought I'd be "Over-Corvetting" myself. So I wore an non-Corvette related hat.

Think I could have worn the Vette hat, or would that have been too much?

Well, you probably would have been ok, but some people would still believe you were too "vetted out". But it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks, be strong enough to do as you wish. At least that is what I'm supposed to say right??

Lets all face facts here...some people aren't into cars and think we are all insane because we are. Especially if you're a girl that likes cars. Then folks don't know what to think. Most guys don't either. I STAY over vetted constantly! Is there any other way? Chevy shoes with the bowtie, earrings, bracelet, shirt, hat....thinking about a tiny bowtie tatoo but my steve would freaking kill me! lol

Impossible to over do it. We're all so far gone off the deep end there's no denying it so why try to look normal? |haha| I'm still wondering where that corvette underwear can be ordered which was in that survey a few weeks ago. |razz|

That's the first good excuse I've heard to actually have to set foot inside Wal*Mart! |idea| Usually I shop Target or Kohls. I haven't had real good luck with Walmart's quality.... but, boxer shorts with a corvette logo on them isn't a real high risk item either! |thumb|

I guess many people out there who see us driving our Vettes already think we are "vetted out". But since we all know better and we know how good it feels, we can not get over Vetted. If "they" were actually into the cars they buy, they would get over "%*&%^*" also. Alas, to most people a car is just a conveyance...they need to own a Vette ! Its the only way to really get the feeling.
