Vette(s): Used to own a 1979 Corvette now owned by JB79
So, would it be wrong for me, the owner of C3VR, to own a C5 instead of a C3?

Not that I could afford it, but I'm just curious what the general opinion is.

INSTEAD !!! How about in addition to... |cheers|

Actually ,after spending most of my time this past week on the garage floor under the white princess, I would seriously consider it.

Yes.

Kidding, of course! I am a bigger fan of, "in addition to," but the C5 sure is a nice car. Some even come with a warranty!

Vette(s): 1971 coupe. Fully restored, numbers match
In addition to. A lot of people have more than one Corvette because they just can't part with them. Of course we still only have one, but will probably have another some day.

My C3 was 20 years old when I bought it. I fiqure a C5 will have to be 20 years old for me to buy one.I would like a 98 vert.

SOLD - "The Toy" - '70 Convertible
SOLD - "The Beast" - '90 ZR-1 (#682)
SOLD - "Betty" - '28 Ford Model A Tudor
SOLD - "BLKBRRD" - '78 Pontiac Trans Am
"BLUBYU" - '04 Coupe
I came oh-so-close this past spring to trading "The Toy" in on a '90 ZR-1, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. Will just have to wait for a few years before ADDING to the 'fleet'.

I went for a ride in a friends C5 today; hard not to want to go out and get one but I don't think I would lose the C3.
