Thats exactly what they are(art)back in the day, styling was everything.It didn't matter if was a vette or not.I could tell you what every car was back then.They all had their own distingtive style.Not so anymore.There ain't a dimes bit if diff.in todays cars.Although I am starting to see a shift back more to styling and I hope it keeps up because I don't know what the next gen of people are going to buy as a classic,but I'm rambling,The C3 tops and trumps ANY car ever built.Even if you didn't like vettes you still had to give it to the styling people(Bill mitcheck,Larry Schonna)for the bravery if you will,to bring something like that to market.I rambled again didn't I.I hate it when I do that.

I've dreamed of getting a C3 for over 20 years. When I finally got the chance to get one, I started finding out so many little bits of trivia that separate this year from the next! It's amazing how much knowledge there is to have outside of even the mechanical how-to!
Learn your year and how it's different from the year before and the year after and that'll be a good start (and probably more than you'll ever need, unless you get on Jeopardy and the category is "77 Corvettes")!
I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!

heard this on speed channel when they were doing history of corvettes.
original name was supposed to be corvair but was changed to corvette to
hope gain more enthusiam from young veterans from the war plus at the
same time showing support for them and it would make it more
american.
