C3 Trivia...

Interesting trivia, but I must add a twist. It's technically correct that a black corvette wasn't a color choice for the years mentioned. The departure here is that I actually owned a black '73. It carried a "spec" paint code. The story went that Bobby Brown Chevy in Des Moines somehow got a few of these for his dealership. I traced the car back to the original owner who told me the car was black when he bought it off the lot.
