This question (or type of question) has come up numerous times here and other Vette forums. I'm sure the DMV would be the best place to get this info... unfortuately, to the best of my knowledge, that info is not public record.
Plus, even with that, it wouldn't inlcude all the ones that still exist but are not registered with DMV.

With over 1/2 million Sharks built, it would be really hard to find out how many are still intact.

Even with the '53s, and the '55s,(only 1000 total, between the two years) we can't get an accurate figure on how many are still intact.

It would be cool, tho, wouldn't it?

I'm hoping mine will actually be worth what I have in it now, at some point. That way, I can convince Mama that the money needed to finish(?!) it will be worth it!

Corvette Magazine regularily runs price guides on each generation. I've done a little comparing of what they list to what is out on a national search of CollectorCarTraderOnLine.com and find CM isn't that far off the mark.
