Anybody see horsepower tv sunday morning. They are doing a 1976

shark makeover project. Next week they will be installing the new

389 stroker engine and transmission. I get horsepower tv on the spike

chan on my cable tv in the new york area.

That's Project Stinkray, it turns out real nice...

It's a re-run well worth watching...gave me some great ideas.

You'll like it when they rename it Project StealthRay !!

JIm,

What is some of the good stuff they do to during the project? Is it more than a couple of shows long? I may not be able to catch it this week but if I know a little more I may record it. Thanks!

They get into suspension and brakes, it's worth watching or recording.

I saw the show on the brakes and suspension this AM.  I haven't done any suspension work on my car but didn't they gloss over the difficulty of replacing the rear suspension?  wish I had a lift to work under the car.

Vette(s): 1975 C3 Red, T-Tops, Black Interior. All I need is time and money! Getting there!

Hank, you notice the rear bolts came out of the rear trailing arms?  Yes they did make it look very easy.  But hey, that's TV.  Removing the complete unit the way they did would make things easier, but you would need the lift, the jacks, etc.   Not something most of us would have.

I would love to see the entire series on that car.   If anyone know when the show will be on, please share.

wish they would have mentioned the cost of the suspension and brake parts.  they did say that the replacement was not for the inexperienced.
