I want to let the group know of a fraud that’s being perpetrated on the C3 community. There is a gentleman, and I use the term loosely, who is advertising early C3’s for sale on eBay and Deals on Wheels. He supplies the potential buyer with information verifying the “matching numbers” of the vehicles for sale but ships a car that is not the vehicle advertised in the above noted forums. He advertised a 69 read L71 convertible with an M-21 while actually shipping a L46 with an automatic transmission. He current list three similar vehicles for sale on Deals on Wheels, a 1970 red roadster, a 1968 coup with a 427 and a 1969 L71 convertible. All ads list the cars from
