The numbers on my drivers door post read F 15....292....83L. I know the 83 is dark blue but what is the meaning of the others?
Also, the last six numbers of the VIN is stated as "sequence" numbers. What is meant by "sequence"?
I looked for this info. but could not find !

F15 is 6th month of 78 production, February 15. 292 is dark blue leather int . Sequence is the order that the cars were built. 5 digit number that identifies YOUR car from others. Mike
