bummer

It's already May and I've only had the white princess out once.
What happens to vettes which are stored over the winter months? Do they all get together and conspire amoung themselves and decide to give their owners a tough time?
The transmission shop just called me, looks like the tranny was about to blow. Flywheel is warped, plantery gears, seals, pump, all bad or doa. Is it too much to ask for a few nice cruzes this summer!!!

It appeares as if this cars have to adopt to us again after this storage time.
Well, I never drive without the GSM , if I ever do forget it, my 68 will for sure stop in the middle of nowhere.
Don't give up, as long as it can be fixed, things will stay alive.

The trick is, drive them all year. They stay happy that way. The big red money pit is out cruisin' in the winter when the roads are dry and salt free...for the past two years, that added up to a whole lotta drivin'. On the serious side, it really is best to take them out to make sure everything stays lubed up and trouble free, after all, they were designed to run all year.
